Biography

Neil was born in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire and grew up there before moving to London at 18 to attend Drama College.

Although taken to Theatres at an early age Neil's main passion was football. He represented his district and county and having been on the radar of teams such as Luton Town, Oxford and Swindon he signed for Stevenage Borough at 16. However Neil's football career was short lived when he was released by the club a year later.

During this time acting started to become a more prominent force and at 18 Neil was offered a place at the prestigious Drama Centre London. An intensive three year method training former students included Paul Bettany, Simon Callow, Anne Marie Duff, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, John Simm, Helen McCorey and Santiago Cabrera.

Following his graduation Neil went straight into work touring the UK and Europe in numerous stage productions.

In 2006 Neil made his television debut in ITV's The Bill and in 2009 his West End debut in the World's longest running show - The Mousetrap.

While devoted to acting Neil still finds time for football. If not working he can be found at Stamford Bridge (or in a pub near by!) He is also currently writing a television piece about a semi professional football team.

Neil is also in the process of forming a Theatre company with good friend and Actor Adam Newsome, their first play will be debuting next year.
